Congratulations to the Junior Section BB football team who participated in the national tournament yesterday having qualified from the battalion competition. No trophies this time, but the boys played really well and enjoyed every minute!
Clifford has retired as Clerk of Session after many years of serving the congregation faithfully. He and Rosemary were presented with gifts at a special evening last Sunday. Ivor now takes up the role of Clerk of Session and we wish him well with his new responsibilities.
We said thank you to a number of very faithful elders who are now retiring or becoming 'Elders Emeriti'. Each received a certificate acknowledging their service to the church.
Dr Kiran Martin spoke to us of her work with Asha in India and the difference it has made to so many lives. Dilip spoke of the impact of the charity in his own life and shared of his education opportunities and ultimately his successful career thanks to the support of Asha. Laura and Bethan will be volunteering with Asha later this year.
Well done to our junior section BB five-a-side team who won the Ballymena Battalion tournament this weekend!
Young folks at the youth club had a great night with the BOMB Squad (Believers on mountain bikes) - have a look at the pictures!
